TV rots the brain

There ain't too many Hockey games for the Turbo here (there are only two I believe) so I was looking forward to playing this one (although I don't know why after playing TV Sports Basketball). The game opens up pretty dull with a list of 8 countries to play (no NHL license here) as and only three different modes to play for your basic quick play, tournament, and versus options here so no surprises there. You can even play five players at once which is cool but only in the not important exhibition mode. The action looks alright at first since the graphics are decent and there is close up scenes during face offs and fights but the game play itself is pretty sluggish with slow passing and very slow moving players. TV Sports Hockey may interest you if you like the sport and have nothing else better to play but it's still a very big if.
