GAME
OF THE MONTH COLLECTION! KLAX
(Tengen/Atari Games, 1990)
There are not too many puzzle games for the Turbografx-16 but a few slipped through. Despite some terrible voice samples this is a good and very colourful 2
meg version of the famous falling tiles arcade game originally from Atari. The
objective in Klax is to match the falling tiles by colour and you score points
by lining them up in at least a row of three but be careful not to let any of
the falling tiles to drop before they reach the bottom because if too many fall
away then it's game over. Your game can also end if all the 25 squares are filled
up so time is not on your side either. This was the only Tengen game to be released
on the Turbografx by the way but at least it doesn't totally suck like Skull & Crossbones did.
